Half-Turn ("we", "us") operates Half-Turn, a player self-evaluation product for competitive soccer clubs, at my.halfturn.app. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Half-Turn is currently invite-only — you have an account because your club invited you, not because you signed up directly.
Account information from Google Sign-In. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this only to identify your account — we do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google product.
Information your club provides. Club staff (admins, directors, coaches, team managers) may enter a player's name and team assignment, and the email address of a player or parent/guardian in order to send them an invite.
Content you submit. Pre-session and post-session reflections written by players (or by a parent/guardian on a player's behalf), and evaluations written by coaches. This content is only visible to the roles your club's access settings allow — typically the player, their parent/guardian, and their coach.
Schedule data. A club's training and game schedule, synced from a calendar feed (an ICS URL) the club provides — session times, locations, and opponents, not personal information about a player.
Usage information. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) collected automatically for security and reliability.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only the minimum scope needed to sign you in — your name, email, and profile picture — and nothing more.
Half-Turn is built for youth sports clubs, and many players are minors. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children: a player's profile and any information about them is entered by club staff or a parent/guardian, and a parent/guardian can submit reflections on a player's behalf. A club administrator or a player's parent/guardian can ask us to remove a player's information at any time — see "Contact" below.
Access is scoped by role: a player and their linked parent(s)/guardian(s) can see that player's own reflections and coach evaluations; a coach can see the players on their team(s); club and age-group staff can see their scope of the club. Players cannot see each other's reflections. This is enforced at the database level, not only in the app.
We use Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting) as infrastructure providers to run Half-Turn; they process data on our behalf under their own security commitments. We don't share your information with any other third party, and we don't sell it. Billing, once available, will be handled directly by Stripe — we don't store payment card details ourselves.
We retain information for as long as your club's account is active. A club administrator can remove a player's or staff member's access at any time. To request deletion of your personal information, email us — we'll remove it unless we're required to keep it (for example, for legal or accounting reasons).
We use a single functional cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
